Cutting, copying, and moving footnotes and endnotes
Both footnotes and endnotes can be cut, copied, or moved to other locations in a document. If you cut, copy, or move a footnote or endnote number or mark, both the mark and the reference text move to the new location. All footnotes or endnotes are renumbered to accommodate the change.
