Marking entries for a table of contents
Once you have determined what to include in the table of contents, you are ready to mark these entries, which can include chapter, section, heading, and subheading entries.
To mark entries for a table of contents |

Click Tools Reference Table of contents.

Select a word or phrase in the document.
|
3.

|
Click Mark for the level at which to position the entry.
|
Choose from levels Mark 1 through Mark 5. Each mark corresponds to a level of indentation.
