Naming tables
You can name tables, floating cells, and table components, such as cells, a range of cells, rows, or columns. Naming a table or table component lets you reference it quickly. It is easier to remember a name, such as “Balance,” than to remember a cell address. A name can contain letters, numbers, spaces, and the symbols #, $, ?, @, or _; however, the first character must be a letter, number, or underscore (_). You can also use text in a cell to name a table or table component.
You can edit and delete the names of tables, floating cells, and table components, such as cells, a range of cells, rows, or columns.
