Applying borders to tables
You can add a border style to a table. You can choose one of the border styles provided with WordPerfect or create a custom border with line style, line color, drop shadow, and fill options, then name that style so that you can apply it to other tables in your document.
To apply a border to a table |

Select a table.

Click Table Borders/fill.
|

|
Click the Table tab.
|
4.
|
|
Click a border style on the Border palette.

To create a table border style |
1.
|
|
Select a table, and click Table Borders/fill.
|
2.
|
|
Click the Table tab.
|
3.
|
|
Click Styles.
|
4.
|
|
In the Graphics styles dialog box, click Create.
|
5.
|
|
In the Create border style dialog box, type a name for the style in the Style name box.
|

Enable one of the following check boxes:

Left
|
•
|
Right
|
•
|
Top
|
•
|
Bottom
|
•
|
All
|

|
Click a line style on the Line style palette.
|
8.
|
|
In the Border options area, click a line color on the Color palette.

In the Drop shadow area, choose a shadow type, color, and width.

You can also to edit a table border style by choosing a style in the Graphics styles dialog box, and clicking Edit.

To customize a table border style for the current table |

|
Select a table.
|

|
|
Click Table Borders/fill.
|
3.
|
|
Click the Table tab.
|
4.
|
|
Click a border style on the Border palette.
|
5.
|
|
Click Custom.
|
6.
|
|
In the Customize border dialog box, enable one of the following check boxes:

Left

|
Right
|
•
|
Top
|
•
|
Bottom
|
•
|
All
|
7.
|
|
Click a line style on the Line style palette.
|
8.
|
|
In the Border options area, click a line color on the Color palette.

9.

In the Drop shadow area, choose a shadow type, color, and width.
