Changing measurement and ruler settings

You can choose a unit of measurement for such items as font size, columns and margins, lines, and horizontal and vertical spacing. You can also change ruler settings so that tabs snap to specific measurements or so that ruler guides are displayed.


To change measurement settings for dialog boxes and Reveal Codes

Click Tools WordPerfect Office onestep Changing measurement and ruler settings Settings.

Click Display.

In the Display settings dialog box, click the Document tab.

Choose a unit of measure from the Units of measure list box.

You can also choose a unit of measure to be used on the application bar and ruler by choosing a unit of measurement from the Application bar/Ruler display list box.

To change ruler settings

In the Display settings dialog box, click the Ruler tab.

In the Ruler options area, enable any of the following check boxes:
Tabs snap to ruler grid — makes the tabs snap to specific ruler settings
Show ruler guides — displays ruler guides

You can also change ruler settings by right-clicking the ruler, and clicking Settings.
