Finding and replacing formatting codes

You can search for and replace codes in a document. For example, if you search for a font size code, all font size codes are found.

You can also search for specific codes, such as a specific font size.

To find and replace codes, you must first enable Reveal Codes. For more information about using Reveal Codes, see “Using Reveal Codes.”


List of specific Find and Replace codes

You can search for the following codes by using the Find and Replace functionality.

To find and replace a general formatting code

Click Edit WordPerfect Office onestep Finding and replacing formatting codes Find and replace.

Click Match WordPerfect Office onestep Finding and replacing formatting codes Codes.
To choose a merge code, enable the Display merge codes only check box.

Choose a code from the Find codes list box.

Click Insert.

In the Find and replace dialog box, click in the Replace with box.
6.
 
In the Codes dialog box, choose a replacement code from the Replace codes list box.
7.
 
Click Insert and close.
8.
 
Click one of the following:
Find next — finds the next occurrence of the code
Find prev — finds the previous occurrence of the code
9.
 
Click Replace.
To replace all occurrences of a code, click Replace all.

To find and replace a specific formatting code

Find next — finds the next occurrence of the code
Find prev — finds the previous occurrence of the code

Click Replace.
