Linking and embedding
WordPerfect supports object linking and embedding (OLE). Object linking and embedding is the process of inserting an object created in one application (the server) into another application (the client). An object can be text, a graphic, a chart, a spreadsheet, a sound or video clip, or any file created by an OLE-compliant application. To share information with Windows applications created before Windows 95, you must use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) instead of OLE.
